NJFSC LLC CONSULTING SERVICES   Evacuation Plans   Does your facility have an Evacuation Plan in case of an emergency? Do your employees know where to meet outside the building(s) and who they should contact in case an evacuation is needed? When occupants of a building are not accounted for in case of a fire, haz-mat incident or other emergency, firefighters enter the building(s) to locate the missing! 9 out of 10 times, the person is not actually missing or trapped, they just didn’t know who to check in with after they have evacuated a building, thus, putting firefighter lives at greater risk than absolutely necessary. Help firefighters help you, establish an evacuation plan, practice it at least once every quarter. The time to practice it is not during the real emergency. North Jersey Fire & Safety Consultants LLC can prepare an Evacuation Plan for your facility if you do not already have one. We can also review your current plan and revise it if necessary.   How to get NJFSC LLC to work on your Evacuation Plan:   Contact our office through phone, email or mail (use the request form on the downloads section of the website). A NJFSC LLC staff consultant will contact you to set up an appointment at your facility. He/She will walk the facility with you and take pictures for a PowerPoint Presentation. If you already have a plan you will be asked to supply a copy of it to the consultant. Once the walk through is complete, the consultant will review your current plan and their notes, revise the current plan, if necessary, develop a PowerPoint presentation for your employees, and present it to them and then monitor an evacuation drill of the facility. If you do not already have an evacuation plan in place, NJFSC LLC will prepare one for you.   EMERGENCY OPERATION PLANS   Did you know that OSHA requires all industrial businesses and other businesses that use Hazardous Materials during their regular course of business to have an Emergency Operation Plan. That plan is required to be updated at least once annually. Does your facility have an Emergency Operation Plan? If not, North Jersey Fire & Safety Consultants LLC can prepare one for you. A minimum retainer fee will be required upon signing of contract for services which will be billed off at the rate of $175 per hour. Any additional time spent on the same matter will be invoiced to the customer.
